How to Prepare for your Headshot Session
My Calgary portrait clients ask me all the time what they should wear for their headshots and business portrait sessions.

This image is from a recent Headshot Portrait Session at my studio with John Bender. John is a Consultant with Investors Group. Here are a few words from John about his business and his ideal clients:
If you don't have a great business portrait on your website, LinkedIn Profile, or your Facebook or Twitter accounts then how do you expect your prospective clients and business partners to want to get to know you?
Do you already have some similar or identical headshots that you need to match? Perhaps you have a new employee or a new member of your Executive or Board of Directors and you want a business portrait that will fit in with the existing look and feel of your website or advertising materials. This is custom work that I do all the time. If you can show me what you need then I can work with you to match the style, vision, or specifications of your existing materials.
Custom photography means that you get what you need, where you need it. If you have special requirements, such as a specific backdrop color, and outdoor shoot, or a specific pose, then I am more than happy to accommodate. This often comes up with larger companies with multiple locations or a diverse population. In those cases it is very common for the company to provide a style guide outlining the various requirements for their employee headshots. I have worked with several such companies and I more than happy to review and follow your style guide.
